Privacy Policy

Effective 20 June 2026 · Founder Studio is operated by Strategic Innovations.

The short version: your recordings and edited videos stay in your browser on your device — we never upload or store them. We keep only the minimum needed to run your account (your email) and to make AI features work (the text you ask the AI to process).

What we store

Account: your email address and a one-way hash of your password.
Sessions: a login session token (delivered as a secure, httpOnly cookie) so you stay signed in.
Usage counters: short-lived counts used to enforce fair daily limits and rate limits. These expire automatically.
Billing: if you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes your payment and stores your card details — we don't. We keep your plan status.

What stays on your device

Your video recordings, edited scenes, and project library are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB). They are not uploaded to our servers and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser storage deletes them.

What we send to AI / external services

AI script & cards: the script text and any reference material you submit are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate or arrange your draft.
Live "Jamie" capture: when you ask Jamie to pull a web capture, we fetch the URL you provide to render it.
We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies

We use a single first-party, httpOnly session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Hosting & processors

The Service runs on Cloudflare (hosting, edge compute, and Workers AI). Payments are handled by Stripe. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the Service.

Your rights & deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Account → Delete account). This erases your account record and sessions from our database. To delete locally-stored videos, clear your browser storage. For any access, correction, or deletion request, contact us — we honor applicable rights under GDPR and CCPA.

Children

Founder Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
